（´・ω・）訳お願いします☀＜Niigata quake kills two; hundreds hurt＞ A severe earthquake wreaked havoc on a wide portion of Niigata Prefecture andsurrounding areas Monday morning, killing two people"There was a sharp horizontal shaking lasting doezen of seconds," gas stationemployee Hiroki Takahashi told NHK in Kashiwazaki. "I could hardly stand up." The quake struck at 10:13 a.m., destroying dozens of houses in Kashiwazaki, localfirefighters said. Most were made of wood. Meanwhile, flames and black somoke were seen pouring from the No.3 reactor at Tokyo Electric power Co.'s Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear power plant, which shut down automatically during the quake. NHK said the fire was caused by an electrical trans former and that no radioactivity had been released. At least 100 people have been hospitalized with broken bones, cuts and bruises,NHK said, and Gov. Hirohiko Izumi has asked the central government to send in theground Self-Defense Force to help with rescue and recovery efforts. The quake, which was also felt in Tokyo, was followed shortly after by 4.2-magnitudequake at 10:34 a.m. A tsunami warning was issued for parts of Sado Island and other coastal areas shortlyafterthe quake but it was lifted about an hour later. The quake had an intensity of upper 6 in Kashiwazaki and Kariwa, Niigata Prefecture,and in Iizuna, Nagano Prefecture. It registered lower 6 in Joetsu and Nagaoka in Niigata,and upper5 in Iiyama in Nagano. Its foccus was about 17 km under the seabed off NiigataPrefecture, the agency said. Several blackouts were reported. Tepco said the No.3 reactor and three other nuclear reactors at three other nuclearreactors at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa plant were shut down.
